The ECUC 21st CCLC ELP Program is run by a team of wonderful staffers who work together to support the wellbeing across the entirety of the program.

Glynda Hull

Program Director & Principal Investigator

As the Founder of the program, Professor Glynda Hull is an expert in the field of Literacy, and has played an active role in designing and implementing the digital technology and literacy components to be implemented in ECUC. Learn more about her work and research interests here

Since 2005, Adrienne Herd has been the Program Administrator for the ECUC 21st CCLC ELP Program under the UC Berkeley School of Education.

Public Education Specialist II

As a previous Site Coordinator for St. Anthony School, Colette Samimi, M.A. is currently the Public Education Specialist for the program. She is also a Development Associate with Family Aid Catholic Education (FACE) for the Diocese of Oakland.

Marni Higgins

Academic Liaison

Marni Higgins provides ongoing supports to foster cooperation and coordination between the academic components of the program, as well as provide program support, observation, resource development, curriculum planning, and training for Site Coordinators and Program Leaders. She is also the head of the Tutoring portionof the program, and is an ongoing mentor for EDUC 140AC students.

Griselda Tinoco

Site Coordinator: St. Anthony

Graduated from St. Anthony Catholic School in 2007, Griselda Tinoco observed and came to know the school well. Griselda first decided to pursue a career in Nursing, focusing in Pediatrics and Labor/Delivering, to which she was pinned in 2016. Her sister began her work as a teacher’s aide then a program leader, which inspired her to seek opportunity to work in her community. The opportunity presented itself in 2018 after running the Simulation and Skills lab at SMU. Griselda then started as a program leader then transitioned into a Site Coordinator for St. Anthony Catholic School.

“I realized the impact our roles had on the kids and how much of a difference after school program made,” said Griselda.

Veronica Rivera Vega

As the newest member of the team, Veronica Rivera Vega assumed the role as St. Elizabeth School’s Site Coordinator.
