About the School-Year Program

The School-Year Program (formally known as the ELP After School Program) is the core program focused on in-person academic enrichment activities. Hosted by the UC Berkeley School of Education, the 21st Century CLC ELP Program is sponsored at participating schools, St. Elizabeth and St. Anthony. The program provides activities focused on the STEEAAM model, which includes Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Athletics, and Math. More supplemental activities such as Breakfast Club, Academic Support, Tutoring, and Homework Help is provided. 

Logistics

The program operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Minimum Days.

These hours also includes supplemental activities of the Breakfast Club and Tutoring.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is from Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM.

Tutoring

Tutoring is on Tuesdays and Thursdays with two sessions available.

  • Session 1: 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
  • Session 2: 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

To Apply

In order for your student to participate in the activities, UC Berkeley's School of Education requires you to complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the Registration Form.
    1. You are able to enroll up to four (4) students through the Registration Form. Please be sure to complete the questions for every student.
  2. Complete the Enrollment Form to sign your student(s) up. (Once you complete the registration form, you will receive a link to the Enrollment Forms.)
